Cameron Sloan knew how to make people laugh, and was the center of attention. “She was quite a character, very stubborn, but she had tons of friends,” Sloan’s mother, Kimberly Becker, said Monday. “Everybody loved her.” That’s how Becker described Sloan, 21, who died after a Sunday morning traffic crash on Southwest Port St. Lucie Boulevard, just east of Florida’s Turnpike. The crash happened about 2 a.m. in the 200 block of Southwest Port St. Lucie Boulevard, said Master Sgt. Frank Sabol, police spokesman. Sabol said Sloan, of Port St. Lucie, was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry west on Southwest Port St. Lucie Boulevard when she lost control.
