K-9 Cas died in accident at US-30 Columbia City, Indiana

K-9 Cas was a professional dog who died in a fiery accident that happens at US 30 near Columbia City. She died because of a motorist who was chased by the police to avoid stop sticks in the road and instead slammed into a police car with Cas inside. Emergency responders failed to bring out Cas at from the car and she died at the scene. The motorcyclist was arrested and Gary Archbold, Cas’ handler was uninjured in the accident but he lost his partner.
