Updated by Nikki Pfeiffer: This is the marker for Leslie Green, a 16-year-old who died 6/28/1993 in an automobile accident. The accident attracted national attention due to the irony of Leslie, who was president of the local chapter of Students Against Drunk Driving, being killed by a drunken driver. I saw this roadside tribute site along highway 205 just north of US 30. That is just east of Columbia City, Indiana.  The marker said the date of the accident was in 2012, we don’t know the exact date until I found it online, 10-25-2012. Rachel Sheets was just 28 years old when she lost her life in a fatal accident when her Ford Mustang sideswiped the oncoming rig’s trailer. The accident happens on October 25, 2012, at about 11:20 am near Whitley County Road 300 East. Anderson.
