I believe they should be allowed for no longer than one year. It is public property. Then the memorial should be carefully packed up and removed, and the family should turn their attentions to graveside or other, more appropriate places to pay respects.

Robert Hendricks do you have a loved one killed by auto ? if you dont worry about things that are none of your business i lost my grandson and i want everyone to remember the Conner where he was hit !!!!!

I agree with you. I was the victim of an unlicensed, uninsured, unregistered motorcycle that hit me at a high rate of speed in my lane. Yet I have to drive past the memorial daily. My family and I were left emotionally and financially dealing with his decisions. Memorials should be removed after a year. My family will never forget, we don’t need the reminder
