What is Descanso Roadside Memorials

What is Descanso and Roadside Memorials, what are they, where are they at and what do they mean?  Well Descanso and Roadside Memorials go hand in hand because Descanso is Spanish for TO REST as in a final resting place for a person that has died.  As is a resting place or a final resting place for a body or a temporary place for pallbearers making their way to an actual grave site for a person that has died.  Descanso is basically older school talk for a Roadside Memorial.
