Theresa White & Verna Cote at US 1 Fisher Rd Berlin, Vermont

Theresa White & Verna Cote were 80-year-old twin sisters when they died in a car crash that happened at the intersection of Route 62 and Berlin Street around 1 pm. The investigation report says that pickup truck driver Shawn Duprey was heading Westbound on Route 62 when he ran the Red light at high speed and collided with a car on Southbound. Theresa White who was the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene while Verna Cote was taken to Central Vermont Medical Center with critical injuries where she died around 3 pm.
