  • Jennifer Weitzel was 42 years old when she lost her life after being hit by a car in Travelers Rest on Saturday night.
    The coroner’s office stated that the crash happened on Glenview Park Place and N. Main St. around 8:34 p.m.
    According to the coroner’s office, two pedestrians were reportedly hit by a single vehicle at the intersection.
    One of them passed away on the scene, while the other was taken to the hospital for treatment.
    The police were not investigating the crash.
