An 18-year-old unknown woman died after falling from I-71 southbound in North Columbus.

An 18-year-old woman dies after jumping or falling from a bridge onto the highway.
According to the police report, for some unknown reason, either the woman jumped from the Weber Rd. bridge over I-71 SB.
The southbound lanes of Interstate 71 remained closed between I-270 and Weber Road.
The investigation report shows that the woman, after falling from the bridge, was struck by a semi that failed to stop in time.
The incident remains under investigation.
