  • Lori Nicole Henkaus was 36 years old when she passed away in a road accident that happened on the intersection of US 31 and Johnson Road (along the Scottville bypass).
    The accident happened on September 11, 2022.
    According to the report, Lori was driving a Chrysler Town & Country minivan when she failed to stop at the stop sign on the intersection.
    Her vehicle was struck by a Ford Escape driven by Thomas Jonathon Bowitz.
    Lori was pronounced dead on the scene while Thomas received some serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital.
