In a tragic accident that happened on Friday night in Hartford Township, 2 people lost their lives. The deputies from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office received the report of the crash around 11:15 pm. They found a car that hit the tree with one person in it. They tried to give the person life-saving measures, but he died at the scene. There were two motorcycles also with injured drivers. One of the people died in the hospital, while the other has non-life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are believed to be the primary cause of this accident.
