Jane Rachel Slotsema at US-131 Grand Rapids, Michigan

Jane Rachel Slotsema was 25 years old when she lost her life in a wrong-way crash that happened near the northbound exit 81 on US-131 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. According to the report, Jane must have been driving the wrong way because of the influence of alcohol, which was 0.25% at the time of her death. Around 9:45 pm, Jane entered the highway the wrong way at Franklin Street and drove about 2.5 miles south in the northbound lanes. Her Hyundai Sonata van struck a Ford Edge, which was driven by 27-year-old Jonathon Yarrington. Both drivers lost their lives in this accident.
