  • Kaele Lynn Polzin & Sara Summerlyn Polzin are sisters who lost their lives in a tragic car accident that happens at I-75 near Gaylord. Kaele was 22 and Sara was 16 when they were traveling on 1-75 and their car collided with a 2006 Mercury Montego driven by a 21-year-old woman. Her car crossed the median into northbound traffic and struck Toyota Prius killing both sisters at the scene. The 21-year-old woman also face life-threatening injuries and was later airlifted to Traverse City Munson Hospital. The accident remains under investigation.
