Sierria Shampree Sanders was 26 years old when she tragically lost her life in a road accident that happened at the intersection of Coliseum Boulevard and Coldwater Road on Thursday.
The accident happened around 9:30 pm when Sanders reportedly drove to officers at the Regency Inn at 1004 W. Coliseum Blvd. and asked them to help her gather some personal items from the hotel.
There, an officer noticed signs of intoxication and asked some questions.
There, Sierria sped off, striking 3 vehicles in the parking lot, and drove east on Coliseum Boulevard.
The officers followed her.
At the crossing of Glenbrook Square Mall, she hit 3 more vehicles and then a fifth one at Coldwater Road.
About 50 yards off the intersection, she drove off a road and hit a utility pole.
She ended up trapped in a vehicle, and medics have to remove parts of her car to get her free.
She was transported to the hospital in a critical condition, where she died due to blunt force injuries.
Her death was ruled as accidental.
