Megan Ballard was 29 years old when she lost her life in an accident that happened at the intersection of U.S. 24 and Liberty Mills Road. The accident happened just after 4 pm when Megan, who was on a motorcycle, was going eastbound on West Jefferson Boulevard and the SUV was turning south onto Liberty Mills Road. As a result of the collision, Megan died on the scene.
