A woman died in accident at US-1759 Dogwood Rd Bremen, Indiana

A woman dies after her car crashes on US-6 in Bremen on Friday afternoon.
The police received the call of a fatal crash around 1:32 pm in the 100 block of U.S. 6 and Dogwood Road.
According to the report, a Volkswagen Routan van was traveling north on Dogwood Road and stopped at the intersection with U.S. 6.
The van then pulled onto U.S. 6 in front of an eastbound Ford F-350 truck.
The truck could not stop in time and crashed into the driver’s side of the van.
After the impact, the Volkswagon continued northeast of the intersection and into a yard where it stopped.
The Ford came to rest in a residential yard at the northeast corner of the intersection.
The Ford driver was not injured.
The driver of a Volkswagen, a South Bend woman, was found unresponsive by the first responders.
She was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
