A tragic accident that happened near 7300 West McNab Road has sadly taken the lives of 2 people, a woman and a man. The accident occurred just before 1:30 pm. According to the police report, a person was driving a 2019 Hyundai Tucson SUV and was going west on West McNab Road. He tried to turn left into the north entrance of the University Commons shopping mall. At the same time, 19-year-old Frantz Laine was driving a 2014 Lexus IS250 east on the same road. The two cars collided with each other on the eastbound lane. The crash was so powerful and intense that the Hyundai engine came out of its car. The SUV then rolled over and stopped on the driver’s side. At least one person was thrown out when it flipped. The Lexus then went off the road and hit a fire hydrant and some bushes and then rolled over on top of a parked 2016 Toyota Corolla. In this horrific accident, 2 persons sadly lost their lives.
