Malachi D. Bennett died on US 9 NW 7th Ave Delray Beach, Florida

In a tragic incident, Malachi D. Bennet, a child just 2 years old lost his life when he was struck and killed by a pickup truck. The boy was playing outside with his mother and grandmother when he thought that his father was nearby so he went toward the intersection. He was struck near the intersection of Northwest Second Avenue and Northwest Seventh Street at about 4 p.m. Monday when the pickup truck hit him. He was taken to Delray Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
