  • Four people died in a deadly crash that happened at Interstate 70 in west Lakewood on Thursday afternoon April 25, 2019. 28 vehicles were involved in this deadly crash leaving 7 people injured including 4 people who died at the hospital. Doyle Harrison (61), William Bailey (67), Stanley Politano (69), and Miguel Lamas Arrellano (24), all lost their lives in this crash. The crash happened when a tractor-trailer loaded with Lumber barreled down from the foothills and slammed into rush-hour traffic. After the trailer collided with cars, the fire broke out which involved 28 vehicles. All four persons who died in this crash were in separate cars. The driver of the trailer was arrested and the police are now investigating why the trailer barreled down from the foothills.
