Brandon W Minier died on Leesburg Road south of US-30 just west of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Note from Jim Hill (4/25/2023) : I received this update from Drew Minier:
Brandon was my brother. I was pleased to find this photo on the webs. I continue to ride motorcycles, and I visit this spot every year on my first ride to ask Brandon to watch over me for another riding season. In the year after his accident I spent a lot of time out there, probably too much time, but I found it to be a peaceful spot where I knew I could talk to him and pray.
Unfortunately, I found this post as I was searching for more information on a rider who lost his life in this same location this morning 4/25/2023. Tomorrow will mark 14 years since Brandon’s death, so this accident has been an eerie reminder of his passing.
Thank you for posting this.
Regards,
DrewAnother accident occurred at this same location on 4/25/2023 per this news article:
Coroner ID’s motorcyclist killed in crash in northwestern Fort Wayne | WANE 15
The Allen County Coroner identified the man as 22-year-old Cullen Alexander Surine of Fort Wayne.
We are very sorry to hear about this and will post a new tribute site should the family place one there. Jim Hill, May 1, 2023

I have a passion for eliminating roadway accidents after having seen so much pain and suffering caused by them around the world. My background is in mechanical engineering where I began my career with Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan working in Body Engineering. I remember the first test crash I watched and how sick my stomach felt when the car crashed into the concrete wall. This memory is forever "cemented" into my mind. As an aircraft pilot I was always focused upon safety procedures, and this way of thinking has made its way into my research into automotive safety. In a desire to end traffic accidents I created this Roadside Tribute site and manage a sister site RoadsideMemorialTributes.com web sites. I also created and manage the Christians for Christ Ministries https://www.christiansforchrist.com web site and a sister site to Roadside Tribute for drowning victims called Lakeside Tribute https://lakesidetribute.com/. My daytime job is to manage and implement the digital marketing programs for User Friendly Consulting, Inc.
