2 People were killed in a fiery crash that happened on 3700 block of Stellhorn Road in northeast Fort Wayne around 5:00 p.m.
A woman and a teen boy tragically passed away in this accident after their car crashed into another and burst into flames.
The Fort Wayne police were called to the scene after they were informed by the witnesses that one vehicle was on fire and they were not sure if anyone was inside the car or not.
The fire crew responded quickly, and they extinguished the fire.
Medics pronounced a woman and a teenage boy dead after the fire was out.
They were later identified as 23-year-old Summer Lee-Nicole Keesler and 13-year-old Kevin Leroy Wiesehan.
Officers said that the vehicle that caught fire had lost control partially because of the icy road conditions and crashed into another car before catching on fire.
An autopsy showed Keesler died of thermal burns and smoke inhalation due to a motor vehicle crash, and Wiesehan died of blunt force injury of the head and thermal burns due to the motor vehicle crash.- Aperture: ƒ/2.8
