In a single vehicle crash that happened on I-69 in Waterloo, Indiana, two people lost their lives. The crash occurred just before 1 pm when a 2020 Jeep Wrangler was heading north on I-69 when it left the road and drove into the grassy median for an unknown reason. The driver, Dennis, tried to get it back on the road, but he lost control of his vehicle. The Jeep rolled over several times before coming to rest against a cable barrier. The front seat passenger, Janice Walthall, 62 years old, was ejected from the vehicle but was pronounced dead on the scene, despite being given the life-saving measures. Dennis was also pronounced dead on the scene.
