Amanda was 30 years old when she died in an accident that happened at M205 and Redfield Street in Edwardsburg on Saturday. The police were called around 9:00 p.m. to investigate a single-vehicle crash. The deputy on a routine patrol located a car stopped on the road with its lights off. The deputy tried to make contact with the female driver, but she drove around the petrol vehicle and fled from the scene. At M205 and Redfield Street, the car ran off the road and rolled over, ejecting the driver from the vehicle. Amanda was pronounced dead on the scene. The police continue to investigate the accident.
